Saltwell Park Model Boat Club

A few local enthusiasts established Saltwell Park M.B.C. in 1980 to cover aspects of R/C Model Boating. Within the club there is a wealth of modeling experience, which covers electronics, kit building, and scratch building, through Sailing craft, Warships, Rescue and Commercial Shipping.

Although most of our members are interested in Scale, we do however have a few members also interested in Sail.

We do NOT allow high power electric’s (speed boats) above 500 class and IC’s (internal combustion) on the lake at any time

We are a friendly club, with the accent on enjoyment for all. All new members are welcome, irrespective of age or genre. Meetings at the lake are a helpful friendly event held every Wednesday night 6pm - 8pm (in season) and Sunday morning between 10am and 1pm. Clubs are always welcome on the day, we would however like to be informed of numbers with regards to large parties
